Prints

The graphic work of Olivier Julia includes various techniques. Etching, dry-point, aquatint, lithography, wood-print and a combination of techniques are used in a predominant geometric-abstract vocabulary of forms. The application of colour is subtle and restrained, concordant with the composition of lines and forms. The imprint of the plate is usually not visible. Julia often prints full-page and creates his compositions on a separate surface. Editions are printed in limited numbers and vary from small- to middle-sized formats.
